More preparation for our Celebration of Learning Day

We have finished our Roald Dahl books. Now we're making a paper bag of all the things in the story that we listened too.

Sinbad has arrived! Our whole school is adopting this very special parrot. This means that the real Sinbad on Whenua Hou Island will be well looked after from the money we raised.

A new teacher in the class!

A fun way to add in tens

Ellie, Elsie , Tara, Amelia and Mackenzie made this big tens track this morning and found out how clever a zero can be! We found out that 9 groups of 10 is 90 and even that 20 groups of 10 is 200! What big maths!

More island building

This afternoon we started our 'school island'. We have lots of ideas about what we need to make if our school island is to have everything we need to survive.
