Tom gave us a measuring problem today!

Which zucchini is the longest, the straight one or the curved one. Look how we found out!

Our jungle shelter was a great group project today

All sticks had to be 2 metres long.

Our construction team.

Suddenly it is built! Top job Adventurers. Now that we've made our jungle shelter, what else do we need to survive in the jungle?

Annabelle's Limehills flag idea

Keegan's whooper banana!

Keegan brought a whooper banana for his lunch today so we measured it beside Mrs T's banana. Keegan's banana was 24cm long and Mrs T's was only 14cm long. How much longer is Keegan's banana?

Joel knows his digits!

What neat digit writing Joel! You can check that others in our class are writing their digits around the right way like you!

Our ladder of adventures!

What a lot of amazing ideas for lots of amazing adventures we could have as a class, as a family or just as a personal goal. Thanks Adventurers for such awesome homework sharing this morning.

Books galore!

Today we packed our 'Adventure packs' (homework bags) to the brim!! Coming home today were browsing books for shared family reading as well as our own library books.  These will last until February the 15th when we share our homework together as a class. After that, group reading browsing books will come home.   :)

Book Bus adventures

We were lucky enough to visit the book bus on the first day back at school!  We selected some cool books about adventures and survival. These books will help us in decide on the 'places we want to go'.

Ross even read us a story about Hester and Lester who went on an adventure and made a castle.
