Amazing acrostic poems

Wow! Just amazing what everyone thought of our first ever Enviro Week at school.  These are a snippet of all the poems shared this morning. Tumeke Adventurers!! These ideas will be presented at assembly on Friday. Finlay and Mackenzie will read their whole acrostic poem at assembly as well.
ENVIRO WEEK

Enviro week was awesome
Enviro week was super fun

New kowhai trees planted at Kowhai Reach

Really fun learning about Mrs Le
Roses made from egg cartons by upcycling

Our visitors were amazed by the Kowhai Shelter
Outside at Kowhai Reach looking for kowhai seeds

We baked up a storm in the Pavilion
We learnt why Kowhai Reach is special to our school

Every week should be Enviro Week!
Empowered Students

Everyone wrote on a kakapo feather
Everyone had fun

Keep New Zealand clean

and keep on baking those fortune cookies!!!!!

    You have lots of brilliant ideas in your poem, Adventurers. Mrs T has fantastic poets in her classroom. Great work everyone, so pleased you all enjoyed Enviro Week.

    Some creative writers in the Adventurer Group, well done!
    Looking forward to assembly on Friday Mackenzie...We will have to ring Granny at Tuatapere and invite her over :)
